Exact analysis of the Tomonaga model
Abstract:
Despite fifty years of intense research, an exact analysis of the Tomonaga
model is still lacking, as the bandwith cutoff makes the model not
solvable. We fill this gap by combining exact Renormalization Group
with Ward
identities and a set of newly discovered ``Correction Identities''
relating the corrections of formal Ward identities (due to cutoffs)
to the Schwinger functions. The same method
gives rigorous results for essentially 1d spinless Fermi systems.
