Title: Counting phase space cells in nonequilibrium statistical mechanics (renamed) new version of "Entropy and entropy creation in statistical mechanics"

Abstract: The problem of counting the number of phase space cells is analyzed with the purpose of interpreting as an equidistribution property the variational principle for the SRB statistics, in equilibrium as well as in nonequilibrium statistical mechanics.
